She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Lyons and Helen Trippett Lyons; her husband Charles R. Knight, Sr.; and her sister Virginia Watson. She is survived by: her son Charles R. "Chuck" Knight, Jr. (Belinda) of Mebane, NC; and her stepdaughters, Jerrilyn Knight Cuppett of Smithfield and Carol Berryhill of Conscious, NM. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
