She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Brenda Nadine Monk and Carl Thomas Monk; her children, Jonathan Darryl Sykes (Aalee) of Chula Vista, CA and Allison Leigh Turner of Mebane; her grandchildren, Emma Morgan Sykes and Benjamin Logan Sykes of Chula Vista, CA; and her sister Jackie Monk Cannady (Freddy) of Mebane.
