It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Keith Hurt (Mebane, North Carolina), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawson Hurt and Barbara Martin Hurt Morrison; and his sister Shirley Hurt Oliver. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Diane Solomon Hurt of Burlington; his daughter Deena Marie Mooney (Tim) of Graham, NC; his granddaughter Angela Doherty; his siblings, Rev. Michael W. Hurt (Joyce) of Haw River, NC. and Donna Christopher (James) of Mebane, NC; and his nephew Dearly.
