It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DeLeon Best (Mebane, North Carolina), born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley Henry Best and Edna Earl Adcock. He is survived by: his wife Dollie Huffman Best; his children, Michael Lloyd Best (Diane) and Deborah Lynn Nowka; and his grandchildren, Tabitha Best, Wendy Babel (Matt), Britney Morrison (William), Donald "Neil" Best (Amber), Vickie Best, Jeremy Nowka (Remy), Jonathan Nowka (Bethany) and Jennifer Comeau (Eric). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
