He is survived by: his daughter Donna Cheek Sargent of West Virginia; his stepson Bobby Jones (Jean) of Mebane; his grandchildren, Tim Jones, Amy Leonard, Trish Jones Valez and Melissa; and his brothers, John, Joe, James and Eugene Cheek.
