It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene McFarling of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Clark and Ellen Ball Clark. She is survived by: her husband Johnny McFarling; her children, Karen A. Snipes of Durham, Kelley S. Lauer of Chapel Hill and Tommy Snipes (Karen) of Chapel Hill; her stepdaughters, Cheryl Gore of Sanford and Amy Lynn McFarling of Sanford; her granddaughters, Kerri Snipes and Kadie Snipes; and her sisters, Kay Clark Travis (Jerry Travis) of Efland and Patricia Clark of Durham.
