We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2021, at the age of 83, Carolyn Brinkley of Mebane, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calhoun Gardner and Pauline Reynolds Gardner; and her husband Wayne Brinkley. She is survived by: her children, Sue Dixon and Jimi Shockley (Angela); her stepdaughters, Debbie Wilberger (Suzette) and Teresa Edwards (Bill); and her siblings, Tomasine Duffy and Cal Gardner. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great grandson; six step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren.

Social distancing will be required.
