She was predeceased by: her father Joseph R. Pearce; and her brother Joseph "Jody" Pearce. She is survived by: her husband Greg Godwin; her mother Anne M. Pearce; her daughter Melissa Kernodle Casertano (Joseph) of Clayton; and her sisters, Elaine Hunnicutt (Harold) of Burlington and Susan Speed (Frank) of Selma, AL. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
