She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Warner Glosson and Nina Milded Baker; and her siblings, Charles Edward Glosson (Jeanette Hackney), Robert Cliftord Glosson (Paula Sturdivant) and Katherine "Kitty" Glosson Tudor Farrar.
She is survived by: her significant other William "Bill" Hinton Smith; her sister Carol Glosson Hayes (Roger); her children, Karen Hite Coleman Mills of Danville, Virginia and Jeffrey Morrell Hite (Shirley Jo) of Danville; her brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Farrar of Mebane, NC.; her grandchildren, Amanda Jo Coleman, Jeremy Daniel Coleman, Ashlyn Brook Mills, Jacob Thomas Mills, Sarah Jo Hite and Emily Christina Hite; and her great grandchild Angela Dawn Coleman.
