She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank John Mangold and Irene L. Dendler Mangold; her husband Leonard Casten Brower; her siblings, Leroy, Frank E. Mangold and Shirley Otto; and her brother-in-law Robert Otto.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard John Brower (Shelia Brower) and Karen Irene Benedict (Brian Benedict); her grandchildren, Lennie Jo Brower of North Carolina, Suzette Webb (Steve Webb) of North Carolina, Deborah Pegram of North Carolina, David Benedict of North Carolina, Jennifer Benedict of North Carolina, Samuel Benedict of North Carolina and Paul Benedict of Nevada, L. J; her stepgrandson Frank Powell; and her nephews, Robert L. Otto (Carol) of New Mexico, Norman Mangold (Ralee) of Oklahoma, Richard Mangold of Oklahoma and Bryan Mangold of Oklahoma.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mebane Memorial Gardens (6914 E Washington St, Mebane, NC 27302).
