It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Daniel Simber Jr. of Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Daniel Simber Sr. and Erma Cawthorne Simber; his wife Delana Shotwell Simber; and his siblings, Leslie David Simber and Dianne Lunsford.
He is survived by: his son Bernard D. "Bear" Simber, III (Tammy); his granddaughter Allie Simber; his sister Julia Young (Jimmy); his close friend Judy Bateman; his brothers-in-law, Howard Shotwell (Sandy) and Kent Shotwell (Denise); and his father-in-law William Lane (Billie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
