She was predeceased by: her spouse W. D. Sykes Jr.; her parents, William McKinley "Bud" Williamson and Beulah Williamson Webb; and her brothers, Frank, Vernon, Jack and Hal Williamson.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Sykes (Susan) of Raleigh and David Sykes (Cindy) of Mebane; her sister Nancy Lancaster (Jack) of Mebane; and her granddaughters, Erin Johnson, Christy Walker, Lindsay Pinto and Elizabeth Sykes. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mebane Presbyterian Church 402 S 5th St, Mebane, NC 27302.
