He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Dove; his children, Monica Humphries (Eric), Clarrese Blackwell Burlington (Lavelle) and Lalamyun Alexander (Amanda); his father John Garrett of Durham, NC.; his great grandchildren, Carshanwna Dove, Patrick Dove, Kirkland Dove, Sentorious Johnson, Ja'Dior Dove and Javion Dove; and his brother Larry Dove (Mary).
