He was predeceased by: his wife Olivia Ann Hill Manning; and his brothers, Everette E. Manning, Jr., Glen J. Manning and Wilbert I. Manning. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Mills (Mark) of Snow Camp and Mark Manning (Bonnie) of Mebane; his stepchildren, Judy Pierce of Hillsborough, Lester "Peanut" Marlow (Kim) of Hillsborough and Jimmy Marlow of Burlington; and his sisters, Gladys Moore of Burlington, Virginia M. Poff and Edith Sykes.
