He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hurley Marsh of McLeansville; his children, Mollie Watkins of Stokesdale and Tyrus Marsh of Burlington; his brother Bernard Marsh (Harriet) of Carthage; his grandsons, William and Luke Watkins; and his niece Lola Black (Derek) of Carthage.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Red Branch Baptist Church (1748 Old River Rd, Carthage, NC 28327). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cameron Presbyterian Church (600 Carthage St, Cameron, NC 28326).
