In loving memory of Peggy Louise Woody of McLeansville, North Carolina, who departed this world on June 15, 2024 at the age of 87. Peggy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Pete Marshall and Ella Yarbourgh Sasser; and her brother Waylon Sasser (Sally). She is survived by : her husband Sidney Lynn Woody; her daughter Janet Woody Carter (Freddie) of Randleman, NC; her granddaughters, Abby (Fiance' Brett) and Sarah; her son Sidney Randolph "Randy" Woody (Paula) of McLeansville, NC; her grandchildren, Tristan (Emily), Mikayla, Selah, Brody, Kyra and Canaan; her great grandchild Marjorie; and her brother Bobby Sasser of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (4635 Hicone Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
