Oran Wayne Aker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oran Wayne Aker of McLeansville, North Carolina, born in Wytheville, Virginia, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil Aker and Katherine Aker; his wife Diane Ferguson Aker; his children, Angie Morgan (David), Wendy Byerly (Billy), Jann Oakes (Monk) and Greg Smith (Amy); his grandchildren, Jared, Kayla, Donevan and Kinny; his sisters, Karol Draper (David) and Iris Stonestreet (Wayne); and his aunt Barbara Dean. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
