She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Oliver and Emma Stewart James; her husband H. C. Roof; her daughter Nancy Gail; and her siblings, Lib McGee, Sam James, Joe James and Phillip James.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Lucas (Bob), Tammy Hardin (Terry) and Charles Roof (Judy); her grandchildren, Cammie Lambe (Michael), Christie Davis (Chris), Gregg Roof (Jamie), Jennifer Thompson (Jason), Randy Roof (Brittany), Timothy Hardin (Tabitha) and Troy Hardin; her great grandchildren, Emma Lambe, Anna Lambe (Fiancé Greg Liles), Lucas Lambe, Autumn Davis, Ty Davis, Sofia Roof, Ashley Thompson and Maddox Roof; and her siblings, Louise Purgason, Dorothy Davis, Brenda Sheppard and Don James.
