He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Simpson; his daughters, Cara Simpson Duckett (Karl) and Barbara Simpson Smith (Jeff); his grandchildren, Chris Presnell (Carly), Matthew Presnell (Dakota), Michaela Presnell, Trey Smith and Jacob Smith; his great grandchildren, Caden Presnell, Harper Presnell and Carson Smith; his brothers, Mike Simpson (Peggy) and Pat Simpson (Kathy); and his sisters-in-law, Alice Simpson and Kay Simpson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
