Ethel M. Sockwell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel M. Sockwell of McLeansville, North Carolina, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Max Sockwell; her siblings, June Roop and Ralph Shockley; and her parents, Delbert Shockley and Ethel Shockley.
She is survived by: her daughter Vee Ann Nielsen (John); her granddaughter Jennifer Rickman (Tony McCarty); her children, Charleigh, Ila, Maxton and Mandy Patterson (Justin); her grandchildren, Raegan, Eleanor and Oliver; and her children, Tyler, Chris Nielsen, Jeff (Janet), Sarah (Michael Wynant) and Daniel (Camille Muniz). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be directed to the Mt. Pleasant UMC or Hospice/AuthoraCare of Greensboro.
