He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Logan Spence and Annie Marie Symthers Spence; and his siblings, Richard Logan Spence, Jr. and Doris Spence Fontaine (John). He is survived by: his sons, Jason E. Spence of McLeansville, NC and Steven R. Spence of Berthoud, CO.; and his brothers, Charles R. Spence and John M. Spence (Joyce). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
