With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Barnes of McLeansville, North Carolina, born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Barnes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Hubert and Florence Kendrick Taylor; and her brother Johnny Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Lawrence Barnes, Jr.; her sister Mary Ann Hicks (Sonny); and her children, Teresa Smith (Tim), Rose Beal (Barry), Earl Barnes (Tracey), Chris Barnes (Debbie) and Jessica Crawford (James). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
