She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Absher and Etta Beatrice Combs Absher; her husband William "Bill" Miller Pearson; and her siblings, Lockie Marie Wagoner, Eunice Shepherd, Paul, Silas and Ray Absher.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Pearson Buchanan (Doug) of Wilkesboro, David Absher Pearson (Rebecca) of Marlton and Andrew Mark Pearson of Wilkesboro; her brother Arlie Absher of Harmony; her grandsons, William Buchanan of Wilkesboro, Dennis Barrera and Jim Barrera of New York City; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Absher of Roaring River, Jane (JL Lowe) of Elkin and Tom (Tressa Pearson) of Charlotte.
