It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Walter Adams of McGrady, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Adams and Stella Cardwell Adams; and his siblings, Randy Adams, Judy Gilbert, Iva Dean Byrd and Pat Wingler.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Absher Adams; his children, Robin Annette Adams Faw (Bruce) of Millers Creek, Angela Lynn Adams (Jerry Blevins) of Boomer, Sherry Adams Dobson (Samuel) of Statesville and Michael Scott Adams (Ginny) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Jacob Faw, Samantha Adams, Kailey Sizemore, Trent Adams and Chase Dobson; his great grandchildren, Chris Smith, Gavin Adams, Skyler Sizemore and Kade Sizemore; and his siblings, David Adams (Coralis) of Kannapolis, Ernest Adams (Faye) of Georgia, Jerry Adams (Susan) of Kannapolis, Barbara Moore (Tom) of Millers Creek and Carolyn Darnell (Roger) of Millers Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
