She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Wagoner and Mertie Royal Wagoner; her husband Montie Stamper; her great grandchild Josh Dancy; her great great grandchild Ava Marie Billings; and her siblings, Vener Royal, Marie Royal, Mae Shumate, Ray Wagoner, Willie Wagoner, Odell Wagoner and Vernon Wagoner.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Felts (Wilkesboro), Teresa Shook (Jimmy) of Purlear, Kenneth Stamper (Cathy) of McGrady, Garry Stamper (Terry) of Wilkesboro, Dean Stamper (Vera), Gene Stamper of McGrady, Jack Stamper (Donna) of Roaring River and Jamie Stamper (Jenny) of McGrady; and her sisters, Peggy Edwards (Junior) and Lorene Wood of McGrady. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren.
