He is survived by: his wife Joyce Reynolds Absher; his daughters, Adena Absher Greene (Michael) of McGrady and Christy Absher Johnson (Brandon) of McGrady; and his brother Troy Lee Absher (Rebecca) of North Wilkesboro.
