He was predeceased by: his parents, John Quency and Sara Jane Pike Wagoner; his wife Margie Wagoner; his son Marvin Hobert Wagoner; his grandson J. R. Wayne Stamper; and his siblings, Edna Mae Wagoner, Bertha Taylor, Albert Wagoner and Willard Wagoner.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy Wagoner (Tammy) of North Wilkesboro; his grandson Gary Stamper (Amanda) of North Wilkesboro; his great grandchildren, Starr Marie Morrison, Abagail Grace Luvina Simpson, Katherine Lynn Simpson, Jacob Wayne Stamper and Brantley Wade Stamper; and his sister Susie Fender of Sparta.
