He was predeceased by: his parents, Ochus Odell and Della Rhoades Absher; and his sisters, Doris Absher Sebastian and Sue Absher Cashion. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brewer Absher; his daughter Jenny Absher Collins (Bart) of Suwanee, GA; his brother Richard Absher (Ann) of Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Salem Collins and Alexandra Collins.
