She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Gray and Mabel Mae Ashley Farmer; and her siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Lee Cascadden, Bonnie Lee Farmer Miller, Rufus Wade Ashley, Robert Paul Ashley, Denver Gray Farmer and Joseph Blaine "Shorty" Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann Hendrix of North Wilkesboro, Tina Lynn Cardwell (Dean Wolfe) of McGrady, Teresa Darlene Parke of North Wilkesboro, Ricky Lee Cardwell (Debbie) of North Wilkesboro and Harvey Lee Cardwell of Boomer; her grandchildren, Mikeal Hendrix, Candy Anderson, Dustin Cardwell and Nichole "Nikki" Parke; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Makenna, Landen, Riker, Jackson, Haley, Bentley, Lily, Rider and Mason; and her sister Virginia Dare Pennington (Denver) of Independence. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
