He was predeceased by: his parents, James Michel and Wanda Heffner (Buettner). He is survived by: his wife June Downing Michel; his children, Beau Michel of Brunswick, Georgia and Amber Michel of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Brenden, Madison, Kierstan and Kendall; and his siblings, Joyce Hauenstein (Gary) of Bluffton, Charity Guinther of Bluffton and John Michel (Deanna) of Columbus Grove. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
