She was predeceased by: her siblings, Hilda W. Lewis, Pattie Mae Wade, Marie, Clayborne, Barbara W. Taylor, Sherman Wade, Henry Mark Wade Jr., Bobby Wade, Douglas Wade, Rufus Wade and Roy Lee Wade.
She is survived by: her parents, Henry Mark Wade and Fruzzie Mae Gilbert Wade; her spouse Virgil Thompson; her daughters, Jennifer Thompson Wisener (John Wisener) of Cove City and Donna Thompson Norton (Rick Norton) of Cove City; her granddaughters, Sabrina Wisener Holloman (Russell Holloman), Ginger Johnson Anderson (Erick Anderson), Alison Johnson Marchman and Joshua Silavent; her great grandchildren, Emma, Lily, Wade Holloman and Abigail Anderson; and her brother Charles Wade (Martha Wade) of Kinston.
