She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Monroe and Myrtle Viola Thompson; her husband Thomas H. Cottenham; her son Harold Cottenham; and her brothers, Frank, Jimmy, Cleo, Eddie and Floyd Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Steele (Carl) of Idaho, Christene Kelsey (Brook) of Hubert, Diane Craudell (Steve) of Idaho, Cindy McCarthy (Tim), Connie Wilmes (Larry) and Jai Vonk (Ryan); and her sister Sue Anderson. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
