She is survived by: her children, Valencia Mobley of Jacksonville and David Wells of New Bern; her brother Steven Mallard of Maysville; her close friend Mary Ledlow of Maysville; her grandchildren, Natalie Schmidt (John Michael Schmidt, Jr.) and Brody Wells; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Grace Schmidt and Emmalee Nicole Polk.
