He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "CJ" McCausley and Rose Azebell McCausley; and his brother Roger McCausley. He is survived by: his wife Angela M. McCausley; his children, John McCausley of Maysville and Angela Lawson of Swansboro; his grandchildren, Angela Needham and Shawn Lawson; and his siblings, Robert McCausley of Morehead City, Carl McCausley of Swansboro and Michelle Deshotel of Jacksonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice or for you take the time to teach a kid to fish.
