She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Thomas of Maysville; her stepson Thomas W. Chavis of Baltimore, Maryland; her godchildren, Caylee and Chloe Lassiter of Newport; her brothers, Donald Newman of Carmel and Howard Young of Indianapolis; and her pets, Anna and Roscoe.
