In the vast expanse of eternity, Joyce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joyce farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jefrow Roberts and Mary Lee Howard Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Russell Roberts of Maysville, NC, Maurice Roberts of Maysville, NC, Melony Frost of Maysville, NC and Angel Roberts of Jacksonville, NC; and her siblings, Robert Allen Roberts of Garner, NC, Geraldine Ewing of Maysville, NC, Constance Jones of Maysville, NC and Jacqueline Dove of Maysville, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Luke A. M. E. Zion Church (91 Main St, Maysville, NC 28555). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the White Oak Cemetery (105 Bynum Ave, Maysville, NC 28555).
