He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Trevathan and Hattie Mae Trevathan; his wife Ruth Trevathan; and his brothers, Ray Trevathan and Charles Trevathan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roxanne Arthur (Jeffrey) of Swansboro and Dawn Cottle (Clarence) of Maysville; his sisters, Frances Mayberry of Greensboro, Lois Newcomb of Wilson and Rose Johnson of Wilson; and his grandchildren, Shane Arthur, Breann Arthur, Cameron Cottle, J. T. Trevathan and Dane Trevathan.
However, in order to provide social distancing, we ask friends to remain in their cars, the service will be broadcasted through a sound system.
