He is survived by: his mother Janice Ipock Purifoy of New Bern; his wife Jane Purifoy; his sons, Christopher Purifoy of Wyoming, Kevin Purifoy (Amber) of New Bern and Jeffrey Purifoy of New Bern; his grandson Jackson; and his sisters, Betty Stanfield (Don) of New Bern and Donna Rouse of New Bern. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
