He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff Jacobs and Ruby Jacobs of Jacksonville, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his son John T. "JT" Jacobs Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sarah; his brothers, Jody and Tracy (Susan); his half-sister Suzanne Al-Taher; and his nieces and nephews, Jace, Chris, Ava and Amanda.
