She was predeceased by: her parents, John Turner and Lina Turner; her husband Byron Ronnie Cavenaugh; her granddaughter Ruby Leigh Cavenaugh; and her siblings, Gordon, Odell Beasley, Benjamin, Lila Mae, Earl, Alton and Wesley.

She is survived by: her children, Nick (Lynett) of Richlands, Dwayne (Jo Anne) of Goldsboro, Jason (Robin) of Cedar Point and Lana of Maysville; and her grandchildren, Amanda Cavenaugh, Christina Warren (Brian), Melissa Morton, Rachel Pennington, Byron Cavenaugh (Gabrielle), Gregory Cavenaugh, Kelly Jones (Allen), Whitney Brown and Austin Cavenaugh.
