She was predeceased by: her husband Grover G. Mills, Sr.; her parents, Oscar H. Peele Sr. and Katie Wells Peele; and her siblings, O. H. Peele Jr., Lee Peele, Jarvis A. Peele, Marvin W. Peele and Jessie Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Daryl Mills of Grifton, Grover G. Mills, Jr. of New Bern, Seth O. Mills of Maysville and Kathy Mills of Richland, Washington. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
