It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Riggs (Maysville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 14, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Janery Daughtry and Jimmy Riggs. He is survived by: his spouse Sonja Morgan; his children, Lisa Riggs Stevens (Peter) of Grimesland, Teresa Riggs Myrick (Tommy) of Littleton and Kevin Riggs of Maysville; his grandchildren, Ashley Vaughn (Chase), Aaron Stevens and Sara Stevens; his great grandchild Tripp Vaughn; and his siblings, Carolyn King of Emerald Isle, Sherril Riggs of Hubert, Ashley Riggs of Hubert, Travis Riggs of Hubert, O'Neil Riggs of Morehead City, Gene Riggs of New Port, Ted Riggs of Wilmington and Reginald Riggs of Swansboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of one's choice in Franklin's memory are requested.
