He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ward and Dorothy Roberts Ward. He is survived by: his brothers, Randolph Arrington, George Ward and James Perry Ward; his daughter Rena Burton (Richard) of Maysville, NC; his nieces and nephews, Hope and Russell Dudley of Jacksonville, NC; his sisters, Vera Smith of Jacksonville, NC and Edna Timmons of Baltimore, MD; his sisters-in-law, Hazel Ward of Pollocksville and Susan Arrington of Cove City, NC; his grandchildren, Marcia Stanley (Gregory) of Silverdale, NC and Cory Ray (Tiffany) of Hubert, NC; and his great grandchildren, Alijah Ray, Coriana Ray, Cherry Ray, Strawberry Ray, Peaches Buckworth (Connor), Thylashia Ward, Thylie Ward, Az'hona Stanley, Zighmeiin Stanley and Zackueryiia Stanley Ray (Briana). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
