He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Trott and Elizabeth Godwin Trott; and his wife Marie Collins Trott. He is survived by: his children, Karla Holcombe of Maysville, Mike Trott (Karla "Brownie") of Manteo and Luther Trott (Bonnie) of Maysville; his sister Wilma Littleton of Stella; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Smith (Charles Duffy Smith, Jr.), Gloria Collins and Lucy Banks; and his grandchildren, Brandon Trott, Katy Fedchenko, Kayleigh Trott, Jake Holcombe, Cody Trott, Kourtney Trott and Ryan Peele. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
