He was predeceased by: his father Claude Ray Boles; his granddaughter Anna Marie Knight; his great grandchild David Hudson Knight; and his siblings, Cecil Boles, J. T. Boles, Wayne Boles, Wilma Dean Boles, Jacqueline Belton, Shelby Atkins, Barbara Ann Smith and Garnette Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pulliam Boles; his children, Wendy Boles Knight (Keith) and Michael Winford Boles (Gale); his grandchildren, David Knight (Danielle), Chelsea Knight Smith (Ethan) and Nickolas Boles; his great grandchildren, Eloise Knight and Gwendolyn Smith; his brothers, Frankie Boles and Darrell Boles; and his sister-in-law Lib Boles.
