He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley Mabe of Mayodan and Mary Joann Mabe (Haley) of Mayodan; and his sister Vera Ann Mabe of Mayodan. He is survived by: his children, Austin Mabe of Mayodan, Haley Mabe and Alec Mabe of Madison; his grandson Nolan Pegram; and his siblings, Robin Mabe of Mayodan, Varanda Langley (Michael) of Fuquay-Varina, Wendy Smith (Jeff) of Mayodan and Reese Mabe (Robin) of Mayodan.
