She was predeceased by: her husband Mark Childress; and her parents, Joseph Earl Burch Jr. and Ivory Marie Saunders Young. She is survived by: her son Zachary Shepard (Jessica); her siblings, Cissy Caviness (David) of Climax, Laurie Hendricks (Robert) of Raleigh, Deanna Willard of Mayodan and Bobby Burch of Mayodan; and her grandchildren, Abigail, Riley, Zylar and Baby Shepard. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
