He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Joyce Vaden; his parents, Reuben Steven Vaden and Louise Winter Shaffer Vaden; and his sister-in-law Brenda Cure Vaden. He is survived by: his brother Steve Vaden; his nieces, Meredith Vaden Price (Kevin) and Jennifer Vaden Holt (Harold); his great-nephews, Nicholas Price, Brady Price and Natalie Holt; his mother-in-law Margaret Brown Conway; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Hill and Jennifer Bowman; and his friend Phillip Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rockingham Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Wentworth, NC 27375.
