She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Moore and Ellie Wilkins; her husband Orville Neal Mabe; her siblings, James "Bud" Moore, Lee Moore, Wayne Moore, Tom Moore, Sam Moore, Jessie Mae Cook and Helen Knight; and her half-siblings, George Moore, Ray Moore, Eldene Hurd, Polly Jones, Lucille Jones and Mattie Vernon.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Mabe and Mike Mabe (Janet); her grandchildren, David Mabe (Vera) and Rachel Mabe (Tim); her sister Pat James; and her niece Cheryl Turner.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Woodbine Baptist Church (7546 NC-135, Mayodan, NC 27027). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
