She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Roscoe and Cornelia Fulton Shelton; her husband Daniel M. Rhodes; and her siblings, Fred Morton Shelton, John Banner Shelton, Thomas Willard Shelton, Mira Kathleen Shelton, Nina Powell Shelton, Gladys Leona Shelton Martin and Ruby Irene Shelton.
She is survived by: her son Sam Stevens of Mayodan; her stepchildren, Dan Rhodes, Jr. (Karolyn) and Connie An Loo of Hawaii; her grandchildren, Christy Hiller (Dave) and Kenneth Stevens (Tori); her stepgrandchildren, Cariann An Loo, Austin An Lou and AuLiani An Loo; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Stevens and Addison Stevens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
